2013-2014 Hockettes Tryouts - April 25rd - 28th (see schedule below or download the try-outs flyer)

Synchronized skating is a team sport for all ages and skating levels. It consists of a group of eight to more skaters moving in unison, doing a routine of intricate steps and formations set to music.

The Ann Arbor FSC is honored to be the "home of synchronized
skating". Founded in 1956 by the late Dr. Richard Porter, the Hockettes
was the nation's first synchronized skating team.

Many former Hockettes are still active in the US Figure Skating today
as skaters, coaches, officials, and parents; including a number of
AAFSC coaches.

The Hockettes program at the Ann Arbor FSC offers many opportunities for synchronized team skaters, as well as hosting the very prestigious Dr Richard Porter Synchro competition each December.

The Hockettes offer teams at many levels from Preliminary to Adult. Please feel free to visit the Hockettes website to learn more.
